He is an Aeronautical Engineer (BE Aerospace) with Masters in Business Administration. He is one of the few Organizational Development (OD) Assessors in Pakistan who got training from UK.
He holds numerous international certifications (IRCA-UK, SAI-Holland, COPC-USA Accredited). He has over 30 years’ experience in Engineering, Designing, Manufacturing, Marketing and Management Consulting. He served as Chief Engineer (Production Planning and Control), Director International Marketing and Chief Coordinator for ISO at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra (Aircraft Manufacturing Factory). He also served in Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a commissioned officer in Engineering Branch. He has developed management systems as Chief Consultant / Advisor for over 890 plus organizations based on Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Social Compliances, Quality Management, Business Excellence through Organizational Development (OD), Lab Management, Information Security Management in various high performance industrial (manufacturing) organizations in the region (Pakistan, Middle East).

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Senior Consultant at QMS.9000 since March 2024, Engr. Dr. Shahid Rashid has led over 40 high-impact consulting projects across public and private sectors. National Engineering & Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Government of Pakistan During his 22-year tenure (Oct 2001 – Feb 2024) as General Manager (Technical) & Head of Division – Program Management, he served in Pakistan’s premier aerospace design and manufacturing organization. He managed complete project lifecycles from feasibility to delivery and sustainment, with core expertise in manufacturing management, supply chain, logistics and program control. His responsibilities included developing project feasibility studies, budgeting models, risk management systems and executive dashboards, while leading large multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex, high-value technical programs. Centre of Excellence for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (COE-CPEC) As Executive Director from January 2017 to January 2019, he established Pakistan’s apex CPEC Policy Think Tank from PC-1 to full operational status. Under his leadership, the centre delivered 138 research publications, successfully completed 107 grants, organized 15 international conferences, and conducted more than 2,000 man-hours of professional training. His work contributed to improved efficiency at Airbus Wings design and manufacturing facilities, and he delivered State-of-the-Art research on the application of DES for aerospace production systems. Artform International Ltd. – United Kingdom As a Doctoral Researcher & Project Coordinator, he evaluated Lean Production Systems and internal supply chain optimization, achieving an average 20% increase in productivity and a 25% reduction in inventory levels, demonstrating practical, data-driven improvements in industrial performance.
